In this workshop parents/caretakers will learn to identify the difference between mental health, a mental health problem, and a mental illness. By focusing on self-care, communication tactics, and resources, to learn mental wellness tools to better engage with your youth. Access link and more details to follow.
On February 16th, students in Grade 4-6 will participate in the BRAVE Education Program. The program being presented is “Bullying, Conflict, and Confidence”. Students will learn the difference between bullying behaviours and everyday conflicts through evaluating animated case studies. Students acknowledge the existence of confidence, discuss who has it, who has less, and how we can shift it.
On Friday, February 11th, students in JK-Gr.8 are invited to come to our French café to enjoy a hot chocolate and vanilla heart cookie. If you DO NOT wish for your child to receive one, please inform your child’s teacher in writing by Wednesday, February 9, 2021.
