PACE Parent Information Letter

The York Catholic District School Board offers the opportunity for all grade four students to participate in a screening process for possible identification as a gifted student and participation in our Program for Academic and Creative Extension (PACE).  The Screening Process for Entry into the PACE program is a three stage process.

Thanksgiving Food Drive

The community of St. Joseph will once again be partnering with the Richmond Hill Food Bank to assist families in need during this season of gratitude for all of God’s blessings. We will be participating in a Thanksgiving Fall Food Drive during the week of October 3 -7th.

Safety Week

The York Catholic District School Board has the primary responsibility and goal to ensure a safe learning environment for all of our students and staff in our school community. National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Friday, September 30 is Orange Shirt Day.  Students are asked to wear orange to school. Orange Ribbons will be provided to all students to participate in a small activity that shows our solidarity with Residential School Survivors and their families. The YCDSB will also be providing opportunities for classes to participate in live-streamed presentations.
