As we turn our thoughts toward the start of another school year, I would like to remind you that the first day of school for students is Tuesday, September 5, 2023.
Morning Entry: The morning entry bell rings at 8:30 a.m., staff will be on supervision between 8:15 and 8:30 a.m. Normally, parents/guardians are not permitted on the blacktop. However, for the first day only, parents/guardians will be permitted to come onto the blacktop to guide their child(ren) to the appropriate line. Starting Wednesday, September 6, parents/guardians will drop students off at the yellow gates and allow them to walk to their line with staff supervision.
Driveway: While we anticipate additional vehicular traffic on the first day of school, let us remember to be courteous and respectful of one another in this regard. Drivers who wish to leave their vehicles are reminded to park in available parking spots or use off-street parking where appropriate.
Class Placement: Families can expect to receive their child(ren)’s class placement via email on the evening of Friday, September 1, 2023, letting you know the name of your child(ren)’s teacher.
