Friday, September 30 is Orange Shirt Day. Students are asked to wear orange to school. Orange Ribbons will be provided to all students to participate in a small activity that shows our solidarity with Residential School Survivors and their families. The YCDSB will also be providing opportunities for classes to participate in live-streamed presentations.
On Wednesday, September 28th our school will hold our annual Terry Fox Fundraiser at St. Joseph, Richmond Hill. Each year millions of students run across Canada to raise funds for cancer research and awareness. This year our school has decided to achieve a target of raising $600 for the Terry Fox Foundation.
